Eli Lilly intends to invest $400 million in its manufacturing facilities in Indianapolis to help meet demand and provide additional capacity for future medicines.

The investment will also provide technology upgrades to the active ingredient, syringe filling, device assembly and packaging operations at the Lilly Technology Centre campus.

Since 2012, Lilly has invested over $5 billion in the US, with the majority in its Indiana facilities.
