Jon Neal has stepped has become the new UK and Ireland boss of Takeda after stepping into the role of Managing Director.
Mr Neal was previously the Oncology Business Unit Director, sitting on the UK Senior Leadership Team.
He succeeds Adam Zaeske, who has moved to a new position as Takeda’s Regional Lead for Gastroenterology across Europe and Canada.
The appointment comes as revenues have doubled in recent years and the company has undergone a significant transformation towards becoming an agile speciality care provider to augment our established performance across a wide portfolio of medicines.
Prior to leading the Oncology Team, Mr Neal was Business Unit Director for Specialist Medicine, with responsibility for launch preparations in the IBD franchise.
Mr Neal will be succeeded as UK Oncology Business Unit Director by Emma Roffe who previously led the Oncology Medical Affairs Team. She has been with Takeda for fifteen years, playing a pivotal role in establishing a highly capable and trusted medical team in haematology, with a strong commitment to delivering for patients.
